A compact stroller that is also a compact stroller, the Contours Itsy offers lots of features for its small size. The basket in the back of the seat features a spring-loaded mechanism, so you can pull the basket down to place bags for diapers or backpacks and then it will pop up to secure its contents. It also has a tray for accessories for children as well as an adjustable back pad that reclines that offer more options than you normally find on a lightweight stroller.

This is an excellent option for those looking for a lightweight travel stroller. Its quality, though it is a bit too low and it didn't score well in our tests of maneuverability. It also has a flexible frame that makes pushing it across rough terrain seem like lifting a huge weight. It might be okay if you only use the stroller on sidewalks that are paved. However, for most people it is not comfortable.
The Cloud Plus features a three-tiered extended canopy with a peek-aboo window for additional sun protection. Its multi-position seat accommodates children as heavy as 50 pounds and uses five points of safety restraint. This is a great choice for older toddlers that have outgrown their car seats for infants.
It's small and folds down in one step. It is able to be collapsed by pressing an appropriate button. It also features a convenient foot-activated break that is easy to set up and release.
The handle is lower than many strollers we've tested however some parents may find it uncomfortable to use for long periods of time. The handle is locked in place when it's open. This is an excellent feature if you plan to use the stroller on uneven or muddy terrain.
3. Munchkin Sparrow
The Munchkin Sparrow is the ultimate stroller for parents on the go. The stroller is compact and folds down and up easily and fits into the overhead compartments of planes, or trunks in amusement parks (no need to worry about parking fees). It comes with a carrying bag which zips up for easy storage. It is able to be used from birth with the infant car seat adapter and offers a good amount of coverage in the sun with its canopy (though not as much as the Nuna TRVL or Uppababy Minu V2). The only downside for parents who have children is that they feel the look cheap and utilitarian.
The BabyZen Yoyo+ is a bit more expensive than the other single strollers with lightweights however, it was created specifically for luxury travel and urban living. It is one of the strollers that fold easily, and comes with a convenient carry case. It's got plenty of storage space as well as a cupholder. The seat is comfortable for the child and the adult and it reclines to a nearly flat position. This is the only stroller on our list that can be used by a newborn with the car seat adapter. Some parents with short legs may not like the handlebar, as it doesn't adjust.
The UPPAbaby Minu V2 may not be the most lightweight stroller, but it has a lot of great features to make traveling with children easier. The spacious seat reclines to a flat position, and has additional padding to make those airplane naps last longer. The extendable canopy has lots of sun coverage, and the parent tray provides plenty of storage. It also has a spring-loaded footrest that doubles as a handle when it's folded. The footrest, however, appears to be prone to damage from baggage handlers.
4. Uppababy Minu V2
Uppababy's Minu V2 is a top stroller that doesn't skimp on quality and design. Its compact design allows it to easily navigate tight spaces and narrow sidewalks however its sturdy structure allows it to withstand rough terrain without compromising comfort of your child. Front and rear spring-action suspensions provide a noticeably more comfortable ride for both of you, while its durable materials mean that it can withstand the wear and tear of everyday life without losing its shape. It can also be expanded to accommodate other accessories, such as baby car seat.
Even with single convertible stroller Pushchairs And Prams on the way, the Minu was easy to fold and maneuver. Its squat nearly square fold that folds into thirds, is one of the easiest in our tests and allows it to easily fit in overhead compartments on planes or in public transportation. It comes with a single-action color-coded brake that is simple to use.
The seat reclines in multiple positions, and the leg rest can be adjusted with one hand, making it easy to find your child's perfect position. The UPF 50+ canopy is lowered quite a ways to shield Cora's face from the sun. There's also a medium-sized mesh peek-aboo window which closes magnetically, and is glued to the canopy, rather than using noisy Velcro.
The Minu weighs just under 15 pounds and comes with a built-in handle for easy carrying. It also has an adjustable shoulder strap. It can be put in the trunk of your car and comes with a storage case and Uppababy TravelSafe, which extends the manufacturer's warranty by two years and covers replacements if items are damaged during air travel.
5. Joovy Aire
Joovy is an established stroller brand, produces various models. This light-weight model is a good choice for parents looking for an all-purpose stroller that can carry kids around, offers ample storage, is simple to use and doesn't require an engineering degree to fold. This model isn't suitable for those who need a double stroller or a car-seat compatible model. It doesn't accept infant car seats. Your baby must be able sit up on their backs before they can use it.
This stroller is loaded with features and comes at a very affordable price. It was awarded a higher score in our review of maneuverability than other models with similar specs, and is an excellent option for smooth surfaces. It comes with a large parent tray, canopy and plenty of storage. The front wheel suspension is a bit stiff, and the handlebar is a bit smaller than average, but it provides a comfortable ride for adults.
If you have twins or two kids with different ages, you could consider a stroller that is side-by-side is the best option to get them around. Our favorite is the Joovy Twin Groove. It comes with a variety of features and a small footprint, so it can fit into places where other side-byside strollers won't.
It has a huge canopy, with a peek-aboo window and plenty of storage. It's a bit heavier than some other side-by-sides however it has a good weight capacity and can be used by children up to 50 pounds. You can add an infant bassinet to the front of the stroller to accommodate infants.
